After seeing a tutorial on pinterest upcycling a coffee table to a tufted ottoman, I kept my eyes WIDE OPEN. Well, out of the blue, a couple of weeks later, I found this baby hanging out by a dumpster
(I know right??!!) It. Was. Perfect!

This was after the holes were drilled |
I waited for my husband to grab the truck, and loaded this baby up to start my own DIY ottoman. I followed this tutorial to make my trash to treasure masterpiece. ---->
Tutorial Here
I spent a total of about $36 for this entire DIY project!
After the holes were drilled for the buttons, I painted the legs with a gel cabinet paint I had leftover |
Added the wood border to attach the foam and fabric |
Add the foam, glue |
Add the batting and staple |
Add the fabric, staple |
Hand hammered the decorative nails (whew, was that ever time consumimg!) |
And finally, added the buttons! |
And TADA! and upcycled coffee table turned ottoman for under $40! |
