DIY Tufted Ottoman

After seeing a tutorial on pinterest upcycling a coffee table to a tufted ottoman, I kept my eyes WIDE OPEN. Well, out of the blue, a couple of weeks later, I found this baby hanging out by a dumpster
(I know right??!!) It. Was. Perfect!
This was after the holes were drilled

I waited for my husband to grab the truck, and loaded this baby up to start my own DIY ottoman. I followed this tutorial to make my trash to treasure masterpiece. ---->  Tutorial Here

I spent a total of about $36 for this entire DIY project!
After the holes were drilled for the buttons, I painted the legs with a gel cabinet paint I had leftover

Added the wood border to attach the foam and fabric

Add the foam, glue

Add the batting and staple

Add the fabric, staple

Hand hammered the decorative nails (whew, was that ever time consumimg!)

And finally, added the buttons!

And TADA! and upcycled coffee table turned ottoman for under $40!
